Viva Las Vegas! New input from Autodesk University

UDS invests in further training for you directly from the manufacturer Autodesk

UDS was just visiting the eccentric Las Vegas, it is already back in Hamburg and the new year is in full swing. A reason to pause for a moment and report on this highlight from 2023: Autodesk University took place in Las Vegas from 13-15 November 2023 and UDS was there again! With several hundred exhibitors and around 10,000 visitors, the event is a milestone in the calendar of the international Autodesk community every year.

In addition to an informative report from the manufacturer Autodesk last year, there was plenty of opportunity to watch informative and exciting presentations, discuss them and network. The event was dominated in particular by the two main topics of "climate change" and "AI". In the area of climate change, the main aim was to find out how low-cost and energy-efficient residential buildings can be constructed with low CO2 emissions. Autodesk solutions can help here. In the area of AI, it was clear that almost all Autodesk products will include AI in the future. This can be seen as a great opportunity, e.g. to relieve the burden of routine work and decisions. In addition, AI can greatly enrich the work of engineers by making useful suggestions. As a result, work processes and structures will also change in the future and the exchange of knowledge and dialogue will become even more important.

Managing Director of UDS Thomas Martin states: “This visit to Las Vegas was not only an interesting trip, but again a clear gain of many added values for us and our customers. By attending these high-quality training courses, we can offer our customers a clear advantage to ensure that they are always at the cutting edge of technology and innovation - and thus remain competitive.”
