1 - ROOF OUTLINE & DRAINAGE
First, the roof outline is created, either on a blank plan or by tracing an existing plan. In this example, several sub-roofs are defined due to the complexity. Drainage elements such as gullies or gutters and roof structures are then added. Input is intuitive via mouse clicks and object snap, ensuring absolute geometric precision.
2 - AUTOMATIC COVERING
Once all drainage situations have been defined, the individual roof areas are marked one after the other as outlines to be covered. This determines which areas the automatic layout function should consider. Project-specific parameters such as board size, starting height, slope, and material are then defined. The automatic layout function is then started.
3 - CHECK AND EDIT RESULTS
After the layout is completed, a complete dimensioned layout plan and the corresponding part list are available. For verification purposes, the result can then be displayed as a 3D model and evaluated in detail from various viewpoints. This makes it very easy to identify possible optimizations. Adjustments can be made at any time.
4 - OUTPUT & FURTHER USE
The output is available in common formats such as Word, Excel, or CSV and can be used for quotations, production, logistics, and analysis.
