Once again, UDS GmbH was present at this year’s DevCon in Amsterdam – a key meeting point for Autodesk technologies and software development.
For our development team, attending is a fixed annual event – a chance to get a clear picture of what is currently happening in the market and where the Autodesk ecosystem is heading. At the same time, the trip together is always a bit of a highlight – especially for team spirit.
Overall, the experience proved valuable once again: many presentations were quite product-specific, but still offered interesting insights into data exchange, automation and future workflows. The dominant theme was clearly artificial intelligence once again – with its growing influence on development and applications. It also became evident that topics such as the cloud and system integration continue to gain importance.
One noticeable change was the new format, with most sessions lasting around 30 minutes, covering more topics but in less depth. Regardless, DevCon remains important for staying up to date and maintaining a visible presence.
A highlight was a presentation on managing change processes in companies – a highly relevant subject. There was also plenty of opportunity for discussion within the team, and Amsterdam provided, as always, an inspiring backdrop.
Our conclusion: There were many relevant insights for the future.
