We have a reason to celebrate once again: our working student is becoming a full-time employee. Since May 1, Gabriel Amo-Takyi has joined our software development team full-time following the successful completion of his bachelor’s degree at HAW Kiel (University of Applied Sciences). His bachelor’s thesis and final colloquium, both completed in collaboration with UDS, were awarded the highest possible grade.
We are very excited about this step and look forward to continuing our collaboration. Even as a student, Gabriel contributed to improving the workflow for DGM generation in Civil 3D. This work then transitioned seamlessly into his bachelor’s thesis on point cloud optimization and contributed significantly to the development of the corresponding software solution. In doing so, Gabriel provided important impulses for this development.
In the future, he will also bring his expertise to other products. Among other things, he will be involved in the further development of our tapered roof solutions UDS DACH ONLINE and UDS DACH EXPERT. This significantly expands his range of responsibilities - and provides us with additional development capacity and fresh expertise in key product areas.
With the start of his permanent position, Gabriel moved from Kiel to Hamburg - and is thus not only becoming an integrated part of our development team but is now also officially a true Hamburg local.
We warmly congratulate Gabriel on this next career step at UDS and wish him every success in his new role, exciting projects, and continued enthusiasm and passion in development.
