On July 1 and 2, 2026, the Fsas Technologies Summit took place at the Showpalast in Munich. Building on the success of the previous year’s conference, the event once again provided a platform for technological guidance, practical insights, and discussion of current IT challenges.
The focus was on secure IT infrastructures and their tangible added value for businesses. Topics such as Data & Resilience, Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid IT, SAP Solutions and Services, HPC & Quantum, IT Consulting, and server technology demonstrated the event’s broad scope. Issues surrounding data sovereignty, innovation, and security also played a central role.
As at the last summit, Japanese values and attitudes - such as long-term thinking, reliability, precision, and a commitment to quality - were discussed. Their alignment with European principles makes it clear why the partnership between Japan and Europe is such a good fit in the technological sphere - especially with regard to secure, sustainable, and future-proof IT infrastructures.
Weather-wise, however, there were differences from the previous year: Instead of fans and sunscreen, umbrellas were clearly the more appropriate accessory this time.
For UDS, the Summit remains a valuable platform for assessing technological developments at an early stage, gaining practical insights, and deepening dialogue with partners and experts. The event consistently offers a concise overview of current trends, concrete solutions, and strategic perspectives. A good reason to come back.
