UDS GmbH was once again represented by a small, dedicated team at this year's Talent Transfair job fair in the Audimax of Kiel University of Applied Sciences. The UDS stand ‘A31’ saw a lot of activity in the morning, and the students showed interest that exceeded our initial expectations: at times, there were even small queues, and many business cards changed hands. Particularly sought-after were conversations with Gabriel, who joined UDS as a working student at this very fair two years ago and is now a permanent member of the team – a prime example of how successful a start at UDS can be through a working student position.
The main goal of this year's participation was clear: to recruit a new working student. At the same time, the fair offered the opportunity to position UDS as an attractive employer and to engage in direct exchange with students of computer science, business informatics, mechatronics, and other technical courses. The open discussions about the fact that what counts at UDS is genuine interest in programming, and not years of experience, were particularly well received.
The atmosphere at the stand was consistently positive. Many visitors approached us directly and showed real interest in the projects, technologies, and career opportunities at UDS. For us, the fair was a complete success and an important step in getting to know young talents at an early stage who can later join the team. Now we are excited to see who will apply and what new path we will take together.
