After taking part in the City Cycling campaign for Hamburg for the first time this year, we are very proud of the average of around 115 kilometres per cyclist. By cycling a total of around 460 kilometres, we saved 76.1 kg of CO2.
This year Hamburg had to settle for 6th place in the city ranking. First place went to Berlin. With 32,465 cyclists, almost twice as many people took part as in Hamburg (17,113). The overall ranking can be found here.
After City Cycling 2024 is before City Cycling 2025. We want to be there again next year, the date is already marked in the calendar. To bridge the long wait, we are already preparing by participating in the 'Cycle to work' campaign from May 2025. This AOK campaign will run throughout summer until the end of August. Hopefully we will be in top shape for the last event of our Hamburg Cycling Summer 2025.
