UDS DACH ONLINE further optimized

There have been some changes to the drawing tool in UDS DACH ONLINE: In addition to numerous minor graphical and content-related optimizations - ranging from sharper, DIN-compliant PDF outputs to updated and improved graphics in general, as well as new and more precise mouseover tooltips - the usability has also been further simplified. For example, the last two steps in the “Create & calculate” section have been consolidated into a single, clear page. The result: fewer clicks, greater clarity, and a faster workflow.

But above all, there are significant functional improvements:

Height adjustment

With the new height adjustment feature for drainage objects, drains and gutters can be specifically raised or lowered - allowing the entire tapered logic to be actively controlled. This not only enables more precise planning but also helps simplify complex roof layouts and find better structural solutions. 

Adjustment of board dimensions

Specific board dimensions can now be selected from a predefined list for roof covering. This allows standard manufacturer formats to be directly considered during planning, resulting in a more realistic and reliable covering layout.

Starting point of covering

The start point of covering can be precisely defined at a corner of the roof. This gives users direct control over where the roof boards begin. A well-chosen starting point can reduce waste and significantly simplify on-site installation. 

All in all, these optimizations give users more control over the planning process, more realistic results, and software that is even more closely aligned with practical requirements.
