Welcome to the team, Yannik!

UDS welcomes a new working student to the team in software development

Since mid-July, Yannik Brömme has been supporting our team as a working student in software development. Yannik is in his 6th semester studying Business Informatics at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel and first learned about UDS at the end of May at the “talent transfair” job fair in Kiel.

He is currently working on an analysis tool for digital terrain models (DTM) in Civil 3D. In doing so, he is able to draw on his experience with Java, Python, Docker, and SQL databases gained during his studies. He enjoys getting familiar with new topics and then immediately applying what he’s learned in practice. At UDS, he hopes to further deepen his programming skills and gain additional experience working collaboratively within the development team.

Curious, calm, and helpful—that’s how Yannik would describe himself. Outside of his studies and work, he has a wide range of interests: He is involved in the volunteer fire department, plays tennis, and enjoys reading. He also has a special interest in history—a subject he once studied for two semesters.

We’re happy to have Yannik in the UDS team and hope he has an exciting and successful time with us!
