In our last news, we informed you about the new development that UDS GmbH is now officially a PSR reseller for Autodesk products. This new form of partnership with Autodesk brings many advantages, especially for UDS customers.
But what does this PSR status actually mean? Let's take a look at the definition and the details.
PSR stands for ‘Product Specific Reseller’. This new sales programme from Autodesk is aimed specifically at independent software providers - including UDS GmbH. These partners develop special software solutions that are offered as a bundle in combination with Autodesk products. This status enables UDS to respond even more specifically to the individual needs of its customers and offer customised solutions. With the new UDS bundle offer, customers receive their UDS software solution together with, for example, AutoCAD or the AEC Collection. From a legal point of view, everything remains as before: Autodesk retains the copyright and usage rights to the Autodesk product and UDS holds the rights to the UDS software solution. Usage will also continue as before and UDS will remain your direct contractual partner and point of contact. The familiar reliability is therefore still guaranteed.
